'Acharya' song lands in trouble, complaint lodged

Last month, a case was lodged by a men's association in Andhra Pradesh against the 'Pushpa' song 'Oo Antava' for allegedly mischaracterizing men as creepy creatures. It's now the turn of a Chiranjeevi-featuring song to court trouble.

The song 'Saana Kastam' from 'Acharya' is in the news because an association led by RMP specialists has complained against the song. 'Yaadado nimarocchani kurrale RMPlu avtunnare', the line goes, as written by lyricist Bhaskarabhatla. Chiru and Regina Cassandra feature in it.

The song insults our profession by saying that young men are itching to become RMP doctors so that they have the ruse to touch the beautiful actress (played by Regina Cassandra). We want the producers and director of the movie to remove the line and also tender an unconditional apology. We are planning to meet with some representatives in Hyderabad very soon, the Association said.

Preceding the previous line, there is a line that says that young men want to become tailors so that they can measure her. Wonder what tailors will be doing now!
