After being very successful and winning numerous awards as an entrepreneur, Dr.K.V.Satish, is all set to make his debut as an actor with the film, 'Yamaleela 2'. This film, directed by S.V.Krishna Reddy, is all set for a release on November 28th. On this occasion, we caught up with the actor for an interview.

Excerpts from the interview.

What is 'Yamaleela 2' all about ? Is it just a sequel to 'Yamaleela' ?

The story of 'Yamaleela 2' is very different compared to 'Yamaleela'. But even in this film, Yama and Chitraguptha come to earth as they loss their book. How I get that book and how both Yama and Chitraguptha try to get it back will be very interesting.

The film will be an out and out entertainer with all the elements like comedy, action and sentiment. We have discussed a problem, which exists in every family. We have also shown a solution for it in this film.

You are very successful as an entrepreneur. Why did you decide to become an actor now ?

I've been very passionate about films since my childhood. But I couldn't enter the industry as my family members were not at all interested. Apart from acting, I've been also interested in entrepreneurship and so I started business in Bangalore. I am successful as an entrepreneur and so I entered the industry to pursue my dream.

Why did you choose S.V.Krishna Reddy to launch you as an actor ?

When we listed out the best directors in Tollywood, S.V.Krishna Reddy is in top 10. He was a very successful director, who delivered some excellent films. He is an adept at handling family entertainers and he is the best in that genre. I personally want to do films which will be loved by the family audiences. So I met him and when he narrated this story, I felt that I couldn't get a better launch than this and started the film.

The way he plans and executes is amazing. It is really a very great journey with him and I am very satisfied with the output.

How was the working experience with seniors like Mohan Babu and Brahmanandam ?

Mohan Babu sir is a very dedicated actor and I learnt so much from him. He made me feel very comfortable on the sets. Brahmanandam sir keeps the atmosphere around him very energetic. He cracks jokes on the sets and at first, I wasn't able to understand whether he was joking or was serious. It has been an enriching experience for me to have worked with them.

We heard that you were not satisfied with the graphics work of the film ?

It is true that I wasn't satisfied with the graphics work at first. I felt that the output was not so good to appeal to all the sections of the audiences. We sat and discussed about it.

The team has worked on it again and now I am very satisfied. The graphics will be very interesting.

Will you act in films regularly ? Which type of films do you want to act in the future ?

I will continue acting, but I am not considering it as a profession. I will do films every two years and that too only when I find a good subject. I like clean family entertainers and so I want to act in films, which the whole family could watch together.

Business or acting. Which field do you feel comfortable ?

I find business very comfortable. I could work in air conditioned rooms there. But acting is a very laborious job. It involves a lot of strain, as we have to work in different conditions. We have to keep our body fit. I know it even before entering the industry. But my passion brought me here.

Will you act in films produced by others?

No. I am not at all interested. Because, I only feel it comfortable, when working in my own banner.

What are your upcoming projects ?

I will work with S.V.Krishna Reddy once again. It will be a film which is very ahead of time. I will reveal the complete details of the film soon.

We rounded off the interview, wishing Satish all the very best.
