Acting wasn't my aim: Karthika

Her mom may be a heartthrob of millions of yesteryear youngsters. But Karthika, daughter of Radha, was not at all interesting at acting till she made her debut in films.
I am a trained kathak dancer and dancing was my priority. Films were not part of my career plan. Though movie offers knocked my door ever since I completed tenth standard a couple of years ago, we didn't take up the offers, she says.
Then what made Karthika to follow her mom's route? It's nothing but the advice from my well-wishers. They said I would shine bright if I choose acting as my career. As a result, I am standing in front of you now,
Interestingly, the 17-year-old girl's mindset has changed a lot of late. I am interested in acting now as I am used to it and aware of the fame films can give. Acting is my sole priority now and I am hopeful to make it big like my mother.
