Breaking: Popular Tamil Actor Quits ADMK

Actor Anandraj has been a AIADMK Party member and a staunch loyalist of former Chief Minister J.Jayalalitha. He was one of the very few celebrity members of the state's ruling party to boldly voice his opinion against the party ministers, MLAs and MPs unanimously nominating V.K. Sasikala to take over the reins of the party within few days after the death of Jayalalitha.

Now Anandraj has announced that he has quit the party. It is worth recalling that the veteran actor was one of the star campaigners of ADMK during the run up for 2016 Assembly elections in which the party under the leadership of Jayalalitha was reelected with a thumping majority.
