Actor Asif Batra found deceased in a complex in Himachal Pradesh.

This year has given yet another blow to Indian Cinema fans as actor Asif Basra was found dead today in Dharmshala. According to reports, Asif was found hanging in a rented complex near a cafe located on FC Gibada Road in Mcleodganj, Dharmshala. Although the cause and reasons of death couldn't be specified right now, this seems like a case of suicide.
The police and forensic team are on the spot and investigation is on going. Asif was 53 years old and he gave quite a few memorable performances in 'Black Friday', 'Once Upon A Time In Mumbai', 'Jab We Met' etc. He had worked with acting giants like Omar Sharif and Peter O'Toole in 'One Night With The King'.
Other than movies, Asif was also an accomplished and respected theatre artist who performed in number of play in the country and abroad.
