Veteran actor Babloo made his debut as a child star in the Tamil film 'Naangu Suvargal' in 1971, and as an adult in Rajinikanth-Bhagyaraj's 'Naan Sigappu Manithan' directed by SAC. He has since appeared as hero, villain and character roles in hundreds of films such as 'Vaaname Ellai', 'Aval Varuvala', 'Varanam Aayiram' and 'Payanam'. He has also done several movies in Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi too.

Babloo is also a popular television actor whose credits include 'Gokulathil Seethai', 'Arasi', 'Vani Rani' and 'Marma Desam'. He is currently starring in the Sun TV series 'Kannana Kanne'. The well built star has a keen interest in physical training and fitness and is also a prolific dancer and reality show judge.

Babloo has shocked his fans by posting a video in which he is seen excercising in a gym and when he tries to life a heavy weight with the help of a trainer it slips and comes down on his neck at dangerous speed.
