Popular character artist Narsing Yadav breathed his last on Thursday night. The 52-year-old Telugu film industry personality was undergoing treatment for a kidney-related ailment at a private hospital in Hyderabad. His health deteriorated in April.

Known for a wide variety of roles mainly in Telugu, Yadav acted in Hindi and Tamil films as well. After Ram Gopal Varma’s ‘Kshana Kshanam’ catapulted him to fame, Yadav never turned back. He got to work in the films of almost all major stars and directors since the 1990s era.

Survived by wife and a son, he will be remembered as a versatile actor who acted in about 300 movies over the decades. A busy artist, he stopped accepting offers after his health took a beating in the last few years.
