Prashanth the son of actor-producer-director Thiagarajan ruled the roost in South Indian cinema when Ajith and Vijay were emerging heroes.  In fact, after Rajini and Kamal, he became the most popular actor in Tamil cinema and still enjoys the same fan following.

Prasanth made his acting debut in 'Vaikasi Poranthachu' which was a huge blockbuster hit.  He followed it up with excellent performances in 'Vanna Vanna Pookkal', 'Aanazhagan', 'Thiruda Thiruda', 'Kannedhirey Thondrinaal', 'Jodi', 'Jeans' and 'Senthamizh Selvan' among others.  

Prasanth  has currently completed shooting for 'Andhagan' directed by his dad Thiagarajan with Karthik, Simran, Priya Anand and Yogi Babu in the cast.  The handsome actor has lost a lot of weight and is back to his stunning looks of his career peak., is acting in the film.  The film is the Tamil remake of the  Bollywood sleeper hit 'Andhadhun'.  Fans expect the film to be a great comeback for their much loved hero. 

On the personal front too the multitalented star is apparently moving to the next level.  

The hot news now is that Prashanth is getting married for the second time and that all the details regarding the same will be announced one month after the release of 'Andhagan'. Sources say that the event will definately be held by the end of 2022.
