Rockline Venkatesh, the multi-lingual producer and actor, has reportedly been admitted to a private hospital in Bengaluru. He had developed breathlessness and has been taken care of by his son, Dr Abhilesh.

An Indian Today report on Thursday quoted Kannada-language news reports as saying that Venkatesh, who famously co-produced 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' in 2015, had come into contact with senior actress and politician Sumalatha Ambareesh. It's known that Sumalatha has been undergoing treatment for coronavirus.

So far, Venkatesh's status is not known. Swab samples seem to have been taken but the test result is awaited.

The 57-year-old producer is a well-known film personality in Sandalwood. He produced Ravi Teja's 'Power' in 2014.
