Actor Rajpal Yadav arrested

Actor Rajpal Yadav has been remanded to ten days of police custody by the Delhi High Court. According to reports, a case had been filed by a Delhi-based entrepreneur against Yadav and his wife for hiding details about Rs.5 crore recovery suit.

While the actor had been sent to jail for ten days, his wife has been given a leniency to remain present in the Registrar General's office till the rising of the court, since she has a small child to look after.
Besides this, two lawyers who were representing the couple have been issued notice of contempt of court for having submitting an affidavit having forged signature of the couple.
Incidentally, Yadav is facing such legal issue as he had failed to repay a loan of Rs.5 crore to the entrepreneur, which the actor had taken for his Hindi debut directional film ‘Ata Pata Laapata’.
