On the personal front, Silambarasan recently turned 40 years old and he is still a bachelor. In recent days, one of the hot speculations in the media is that the multi-talented actor got engaged to a Sri Lankan Tamil girl. Reports also suggested that the alliance was arranged by his parents. Now, STR's manager has denied the baseless news.
The official statement from the actor's side reads, We strongly deny the news of Silambarasan TR getting engaged to a Sri Lankan Tamil Girl as mentioned by few media channels. There is no truth behind it. We request our media friends to do confirm things as personal topic as 'Marriage' with us. If and when there is a good news regards marriage, our media friends will be the first to be called for and conveyed on the same.
