Puratchi Thalapathy Vishal's new action entertainer, 'Rathnam', is set to storm the screens across the world tomorrow. The film was well promoted across the state both online and offline by the makers including director Hari. The latest is that 'Rathnam' is facing problems ahead of its release.

Actor Vishal revealed that the film is having trouble releasing in Thanjavur and Trichy area because of a conspiracy. In a conversation with a news channel, he stated that the theatres in the TT area are not releasing 'Rathnam' due to a petition by an anonymous in the area's theatre owners association. He added that the association heads are not picking up his call.

This fiasco has caused a great stir in the film industry. 'Rathnam' is jointly produced by Stone Bench Films and Zee Studios. It stars Vishal, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Yogi Babu, Samuthirakani, Gautham Vasudev Menon and many others. The film has music by Devi Sri Prasad, cinematography by Sukumar and editing by TS Jay.
