Actor Y Gee Mahendran releases music album

Y Gee Mahendran is known for being a great comedian and has impressed audiences through decades of Tamil cinema. But he just turned to music and launched his first album.
Apparently, the actor is a talented in whistling and has been convinced into releasing a collection of works of legendary musicians Viswanathan and Ramamoorthy. The launch of the album was graced by Shri. M.S.Viswanathan and the first copy was given to Maestro Illayaraja. Another interesting bit of news is the discoverer of this talent was in fact Superstar Rajnikanth who made an attempt and got Y Gee Mahendran to come forward and lend his whistles for the tracks.
