Actor-politician Vijaykanth is 'stable' after testing positive for COVID-19

Former Kollywood actor and Tamil politician Vijaykanth has been diagnosed with COVID-19. His condition is stable.

On Thursday, DMDK issued a statement saying that Vijayakanth has got only mild symptoms. He has fully recovered now, the note said.

A while ago, MIOT Hospital, where the actor-politician is undergoing treatment, said that the infection was diagnosed on September 22. His condition is stable now, the note added.

It's believed that Vijaykanth got infected during one of his political party's events recently. Aged 68, he is known for his fighting spirit.
