Actress abduction: Dileep's custody extended

After two days of custody, the Judicial First Class Magistrate Court in Angamaly has extended the Police custody period of actor Dileep. On the bail application of the actor, who was arrested charged with conspiracy in connection with the actress' abduction happened in February, the court will consider on Saturday afternoon.
Dileep's arrest has sent a shock wave across the film industry. The actor was arrested by police in Aluva on July 10th evening 6:30 p.m after being questioned for about 5 hours.The actor has been remanded to 14 days judicial custody from July 11th and was lodged in Aluva sub-jail. The actor was presented to the Angamaly Judicial Magistrate court on July 12th and was sent for two days police custody for further questioning and collection of evidence.
Investigative officers are looking to gather more evidence and find out about the involvement of more people in the case. Further arrests are likely.
