Actress Ambika warns fans of fake Facebook account

Veteran actress Ambika is a prominent face in all four South Indian film industries. Having made her debut as a child artiste, Ambika went on to debut as the lead heroine at the age of 16 in Samayamaayilla Polum in 1978. The actress is still active in cinema.
Recently, the actress has warned her fans regarding a fake Facebook account that has been very active on social media in her name. Taking to her social media handle, the actress shared the picture of the fake profile in her name and said that nobody should encourage the page.
Below Ambika's post, many people have come out in support for the actress. While some said the actress should file a complaint, others reported the incident on Facebook and suggested that the fake should be trapped.
Many celebrities have been victims of this cybercrime and harassment. Facebook has issued a 'blue tick' badge to celebrities and high-ranking people to protect them from fraud. But those who do not have are still the victims of fake prey.
