Actress Andrea Jermiah to play the love interest of Mamootty

Andrea Jermiah joined the location of Thoppil Joppan,' filmed by Johny Antony; Mammooty essays the character of the Jopan, the protagonist of the movie. Nishad Koya is the scriptwriter of the movie. According to the scriptwriter, the story has two timelines and there will be two heroines who appear in different periods in the story. The other heroine is Mamatha and her character is also very important.
Andrea has posted a location selfie from its sets and it is going viral, The humorous story is told in a light-hearted way; Mammuka is playing the role of a Kabbadi enthusiast who is member of a sports club. The roles of his teammates are portrayed by Saju Navodaya, Alencin Lay, Sreejith Ravi etc. Another side of the character is that he is an alcoholic. Andrea's role was originally written for Amala Paul who is now mired in divorce controversy. Amala Paul declined it due to her tight schedule.
Johny Antony's last venture Bhaiyaa Bhaiyya was not that rewarding at the box office. This is his comeback film which is set to unleash a new innings for him in Mollywood. Andrea's previous tryst with Malayalam cinema started with Annayaum Rasoolum and it continued in London Bridge & Loham. Annayum Rasoolum carved out a seat for her in the minds of Malayalam film audience. The film is produced under the banner of Grande Film Corporation by Noushad Alathur & Jeevan Nazar.
