Popular actress Aswathy Babu was arrested in 2018 for conducting rave drug parties in her apartment and engaging several drug addicted girls into prostitution. The Kerala police raided her apartment and took her into custody after catching her red handed. She was 22 years old at that time and got bail after a few months.

Meanwhile on Thursday Aswathy was allegedly in a car with her boyfriend Naufal speeding away in a drug induced inebriated state in Kochi. The couple's car losing control rammed into several vehicles before coming to a halt. They tried to runaway by foot before onlookers alerted the cops who rushed there and arrested them both. This is said to be the second time they have been arrested in a drug related case.

Aswathy Babu was born on 1999 in Trivandrum, Kerala, India. She has acted in small roles in a few Malayalam films as well as television serials. She is allegedly a drug addict from the time she was a teenager according to reports.
