During March this year when the lockdown was imposed and many celebrities were clapping and lighting Diyas in their balconies, actress Shikha Malhotra who acted in movies like Shahrukh Khan starrer Fan, volunteered as nurse and worked in the BMC run hospital in Jogeshwari, Mumbai.

Shikha Malhotra has been serving at the hospital for the past six months. Few days back the actress revealed on social media that she has tested positive for COVID-19. Shikha had been hospitalised and is currently undergoing treatment for the same.

Shikha also mentioned about her health condition in the post saying that she was feeling short of oxygen in the body. The actress said that the post was made to make people aware and take the virus seriously, stay at home as much as possible and Shikha sought the blessings of her fans.
