Thala Ajith's 'Valimai' was progressing silently with many important sequences canned in Chennai, Hyderabad and other locations. The team was to have flown into Vizag a couple of days back but had to cancel due to the coronavirus pandemic forcing the shutdown of all film shootings in the country till March 31st.

Meanwhile, the big update on 'Valimai' is that one of the leading ladies in the film, Huma Qureshi is playing a role that appears with Ajith throughout the film and she is also required to do stunts and that too on a motorbike. The whole wide world knows that Thala is the expert when it comes to handling the two-wheeled monsters and racing them is his first passion. It remains to be seen if Huma can train hard enough to match the king of the race track Ajith in the movie.

'Valimai' directed by H. Vinod and produced by Boney Kapoor has music score by Yuvan Shankar Raja and cinematography by Nirav Shah. Though the cast is kept under wraps we have the inside info that apart from Thala and Huma, Yogi Babu and Telugu hero Karthikeya are playing other pivotal characters.
