Keerthy Suresh's next big movie to release directly on OTT ?

The coronavirus pandemic which has a completely upset normal life in the entire world has also severely impacted the cine field. Since the reopening of theaters seems to be a long way away producers who have to bear the brunt of exorbitant interest rates for loans are looking at other avenues to recoup their money.
Suriya had decided a few weeks back to release his wife Jyotika's new movie 'Ponmagal Vandhaal' directly on the OTT platform and sold the rights to Amazon Prime Video. There were vehement protests from the theater owners association for this.
Now the news from reliable sources is that Karthik Subbaraj has taken the decision to release his upcoming production venture 'Penguin' directly on the OTT platform. The film helmed by debutante Eashwar Karthik has music score by Santhosh Narayanan and is said to be a thriller genre film. It is said that the film will start steaming as early as first week of June and the official announcement will come soon.
