Young Tollywood beauty, Krithi Shetty made a solid debut in the super hit romantic thriller movie 'Uppenna' that also marked the debuts of director Buchi Babu Sana, hero Panja Vaisshnav Tej and Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi (in Telugu language). However her subsequent films did not fare well at the box office.

Krithi was supposed to make her Tamil debut in Bala's 'Vanangaan' opposite Suriya and shot for nearly a month. But the film got shelved due to creative differences between Bala and Suriya and the former is now making the film with Arun Vijay and Roshni Prakash. Krithi's last two Telugu/Tamil bilinguals 'Warriorr' and 'Custody' both flopped at the box office.

Meanwhile rumours started doing the rounds in Tollywood that Krithi has undergone plastic surgery to look older in films. The actress is still in her teens and will turn twenty only in September this year.

Krith has responded that she feels very embarrassed when she hears such rumors and her family too is affected due to it. She added that sometimes there is a possibility that the face will look different when hairstyle is changed and the features will also change due to the constant usage of makeup materials.

Krithi Shetty is currently in talks to star in two Tamil films namely 'Genie' with Jayam Ravi in the lead and the untitled new Karthi starrer directed by Nalan Kumarasamy. The teen beauty reportedly has meaty roles in both the films that will give her scope to show her acting skills.
