Lakshmi Menon is unique among young actresses for mostly starring in hit movies in Tamil right from her debut 'Kumki' to her most recent 'Rekka' in which she had shared screen space with Vijay Sethupathi. The pretty young performer took a break from films after that to concentrate on her studies and from time to time has shared her pics and videos on social media mostly to do with her dance practices.

Lakshmi has apparently been practicing traditional dance during the lockdown and in one of her earlier videos she has had a slip up that she shared. She captioned the video "Disclaimer:A very very complex difficult dance stunt do not try at home. Watch till the end.(did not see water on the floor).

Lakshmi has signed on to play the lead role in a new movie that has Gautham Karthik in the lead and directed by Muthaiya. Her other films that are delayed and waiting for release are 'Sippai' with Gautham Karthik and 'Yung Mung Sung' with Prabhu Deva.
