Malavika Mohanan shares pics of her 5 hours makeup session for 'Thangalaan'

The shooting of 'Thangalaan' which was stalled due to hero Chiyaan Vikram breaking a rib during rehearsal has resumed after one and a half months. Actress Malavika Mohanan who is playing a pivotal character has shared BTS pics of her extensive makeup for her period look in the film has gone viral.
Malavika wrote alongside the pics on Instagram When youâre playing a character which needs 4-5 hours of makeup & costume time daily(sitting still for that long has been the biggest challenge, yes, most of the BTS photos on your camera roll tend to be these.
'Thangalaan' directed by Pa Ranjith and produced by Studio Green has music by G.V. Prakash Kumar. The period drama set in the Kolar Gold Fields (KGF) stars Chiyaan Vikram, Parvathy Thiruvothu, Malavika Mohanan, Pasupathi and Daniel Caltagirone. The shooting will be wrapped up completely in a few weeks time and festive release date in early 2024 is planned.
