Manjima Mohan had a dream debut in Tamil cinema in 'Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada' directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon and starring Simbu in the lead role. She has since acted in several Kollywood movies apart from her strong presence in Malayalam cinema.

Recently it was reported that Manjima and Gautham Karthik fell in love during the making of their 'Devarattam' and that they are living together. It was also said that the couple are likely to tie the knot soon. Both the stars did not react to the news further fuelling speculations.

Manjima has finally opened up to a Malayalam media denying the alleged love affair with Gautham Karthik. She said "I came to the cinema at the age of 3. I never hid any important events in my life from the public. I like to share with the public every joy that comes in my life. No matter how small or big it is. The talented actress added "When the person who posted this news asked me about it, I denied it but he still went on to publish it. It hurt me badly and what caused me anxiety was what my parents' reaction would be in this regard but fortunately they did not take it seriously. " Fans of the dashing stars are in a state of confursion Manjima and Gautham's social media interactions were pointing towards them being very much in love according to netizens.
