Reason for IT raid in actress Manthra's properties

Manthra was a hot heroine in Tamil and Telugu cinema in the nineties and has acted with Thalapathy Vijay in 'Love Today' and Thala Ajith in 'Rettai Jadai Vayasu'. After her marriage she took a break from acting and only recently made a comeback in character roles with Simbu's 'Vaalu' and Jiiva's 'Kavalai Vendaam'.

An Income tax raid is being conducted on the properties belonging to Manthra in Chennai and Andhra Pradesh. It is said that the actress is a close relative of the popular Colors Health Care company which has branches all over South India and has been under the IT scanner for the past few days.
