Surprising many actress Miya George got engaged to Ashwin Philip, a businessman, recently amid lockdown. It is said to be a purely arranged marriage for Miya. The close-knit ceremony was held at the groom's house with very few in attendance.
Ever since the news surfaced online, netizens have been waiting to have a glimpse of the engagement. Now, a few pictures from the engagement ceremony are out. Spotted in a simple white salwar, the 23-year-old actress looks simple and elegant in the stills. It is said that the wedding will happen in September.
Last seen in the Prithviraj-Suraj Venjaramood starrer superhit movie 'Driving License', Miya rose to fame with her supporting roles in Television shows. Soon she ventured into cinema and played the lead roles in several superhits.
Miya is also popular in Kollywood. 'Indru Netru Naalai', 'Amara Kaviyam', 'Oru Naal Kuthu' are some of her works. In Tamil, she will be next seen in Vikram's 'Cobra'. In Malayalam, her next release will be ‘Kanmanilla’, in which she essays the role of a cop.
