Lady Superstar Nayanthara had five movie releases last year namely 'Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal', 'O2', 'Godfather', 'Gold' and 'Connect'. She is doing the same number of films this year too with the most notable being her Hindi debut 'Jawan' directed by Atlee and costarring Shah Rukh Khan, Vijay Sethupathi and Deepika Padukone.

It has been reported that Nayanthara will play the lead role in a new movie to be produced by Prince Pictures that will go on floors in Chennai on July 14th. The film marks the directorial debut of famous YouTuber Dude Vicky. It is said to be a female centric film with an interesting cast which will be officially announced soon.

Nayanthara's upcoming films include 'Iraivan' directed by Ahmed and costarring Jayam Ravi, 'Lady Superstar 75' that has her reuniting with her 'Raja Rani' costars Sathyaraj and Jai.
