Actress Nikita passed away succumbing to injuries

Actress Nikita was admitted to a private hospital after suffering head and body injuries allegedly due to falling off the terrace of her parents home. The 32 year old succumbed to the injuries on Saturday leaving the Odia film and television fraternity in shock.

Nikita's original name was Laxmipriya Behera and she shot to fame after acting in movies such as ‘Chori chori mana chori’, ‘Maa ra Panatakani’ and ‘Smile please’ and for her dominating roles in television serials. She was married to Lipan Sahu and has left behind her six-month-old daughter.
