Priya Bhavani Shankar comes in support of a man insulted by his wife in public

Priya Bhavani Shankar one of Tamil Cinemas' busiest actresses after watching one of the latest episodes of the popular Neeya Naana reality show on Vijay TV has gotten emotional and has shared her views on social media. In one of the episodes, the father of a small girl was ridiculed by his wife for staring at her progress report for hours together while saying that she will sign it in a minute.

When host Gopinath asked the man why he stared at his daughter's report card he replied that he is illiterate and had never scored more than 10 of 20 marks. hence every time he saw that his daughter has got more than 75 or 80 marks that made him emotional. He further added that his dream is to make his daughter study medicine and he will do everything in his power to make it happen.

The man's wife even at that time ridiculed him by saying that he has not grown up and is stuck in the 90s. Gopinath reacted to her insensitivity by awarding a gift to the man and calling him the best dad. He even made the little girl present the gift to her father after which she gushed that her father does everything for her and she appreciates all his efforts much to the chagrin of her mother.

Referring to this episode Priya Bhavani Shankar wrote on Twitter It's a kind of mental illness to look down on someone and think it's a joke. I am satisfied with your vision and speech, Gopi bro. There are thousands of theories for success. But a father can not be defeated! Congratulations on giving him the deserved recognition! @Gobinath_C.
