The casting couch issue is the biggest curse of the film industry and many young girls have been affected by it during the years. Many have complained that producers, directors and heroes expected sexual favours in return for a chance to act in their movies.

Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon was one of the most sought after leading ladies during the nineties and apart from Hindi films has also acted with Kamal Haasan in 'Aalavandhaan' and Arjun in 'Saathu'. After settling down to married life with film distributor Anil Thadani and raising four children including two adopted she has made a comeback to films in recent times.

Raveena is playing an important role in the pan Indian film 'KGF : Chapter 2' starring Yash and Sanjay Dutt in the lead roles. In her latest interview Raveena has revealed that during the nineties heroes expected heroines to sleep with them if they wanted to be promoted by them.

She has added that because she refused to take part in the casting couch she lost many film opportunities. Further the men started spreading rumours that she was arrogant and difficult to work with that also spoilt her getting work in a few films as well.
