Director Saran, known for his successful movies like Amarkalam, Kadhal Mannan, Attagasam, Vasool Raja, Gemini etc had last directed the movie Aayirathil Oruvar starring Vinay in lead role, and is currently back to direction with his next movie Market Raja MBBS.

Market Raja MBBS has Bigg Boss season 1 title winner Aarav playing the lead role, and he will be playing a railway contractor and gangster in the movie. Actress Radhika Sarathkumar plays a don in the movie, and she will be seen as Aarav's mother.

It has now been revealed that the movie will also star actress Rohini in a key role, as a woman working in Amma Unavagam and as a hearing impaired. Rohini will be seen playing the mother of the female lead played by debutant heroine Kavya Thapar.
