Actress Roja wins big in elections and set to become a minister

Actress Roja has won big from the Nagari constituency of the Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections and has become an MLA for the second term. Representing the YSR Congress she beat the TDP candidate Gali Banu Prakash. Reports coming in from the neighboring states suggest that Roja is likely to be made a minister.

Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu has been defeated in AP and is likely to resign this evening. YSR Jagan Mohan Reddy is set to become the Chief Minister and will assume office on May 30th.
