Sanghavi made her acting debut in Tamil along with Thala Ajith in 'Amaravathi' which gave both of them a big break in the industry in 1993. She later became a hot pair of Thalapathy Vijay in the initial stages of his career in movies such as 'Rasigan', 'Vishnu' and 'Coimbatore Maappillai'.

Sanghavi got married to a computer professional in the year 2016 and gave birth to a baby girl last year at the age of 42. She posted pictures of her little one a few months back that was widely liked by her social media followers.

Sanghavi in a recent post had captioned a cute photo of her precious one "A daughter is the most beautiful gift this world has to give ...". Sanghavi was last seen in the 2019 movie 'Kolanji' costarring Samuthirakani and is open to good roles in both Tamil and Telugu cinema.
