Critically acclaimed actress Saranya Ponvannan who is the busiest character artiste in Tamil cinema is married to actor-director Ponvannan. The couple recently celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary in a private ceremony. They have two daughters Priyadarshini Ponvannan and Chandni Ponvannan.

Priyadarshini Ponvannan got engaged in a ceremony held in Chennai with close family members and friends in attendance. Photos of the to be married young couple with their parents have gone viral on the internet. The marriage date will be announced soon.
