Actress denies night party with male friends and drunken driving

The coronavirus lockdown is creating a lot of stress for everyone but is a necessity to combat the disease from spreading any further and stay at home and social distancing along with hygiene is a thumb rule. Celebrities are doing their bit by raising awareness for the same while some get into controversies as well like popular actress cum producer Sharmeila Mandre. On the wee hours of Saturday morning Sharmeila's luxury Jaguar car crashed at a busy junction in Bengaluru and she along with her friend Lokesh Vasanth was admitted to a nearby hospital. Karnataka news reports suggested that the young actress-producer was partying at night with male friends and that the accident occurred due to drunken driving.

Sharmeila Mandre has clarified that she had severe stomach pain that night and since she could not drive the car by herself had to call friends for help and the unfortunate accident happened. She has denied that she was partying at night with male friends and also taking alcohol which is banned during the lockdown.
