Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan's two daughters Shruti and Aksharaa have also followed his footsteps into the film industry and are proving their talents through their work. The siblings are very close to each other but the coronavirus pandemic has kept them apart for more than a year which has never happened before.

Shruti and Aksharaa however had the opportunity to catch up in Hyderabad and after sharing a monochrome pic on Insta the elder sister got emotional and wrote "When you have a sister you don’t need much else... little known fact we didn’t meet through the entire pandemic until now because of our schedules - this trip was so special to both of us.

The Haasan siblings also shared some quality time with their multiple national award winning cousin Suhasini Mani Ratnam. They then collaborated with Tollywood hunk Rana Daggubatti for a surprise project and shared pics with him too.

Shruti's next movie is the pan Indian biggie 'Salaar' directed by Prashanth Neel and starring Prabhas. Aksharaa on the other hand has 'Agni Siragugal' directed by Naveen that has Vijay Antony and Arun Vijay sharing screen space for the first time as the leading men.
