Navarasa Nayagan Karthik who ruled Tamil cinema as one of the most loved heroes during the eighties and nineties has appeard in a few films in the past decade. After a long time he is playing the lead role in a new movie titled 'Thee Ivan' directed by T.J. Jayamurugan.

'Thee Ivan' has veteran actress Suganya as the female lead and she is sharing screenspace with Karthik after 28 years since they paired up in 'Seeman' released in 1996. The film bankrolled by Manithan Cine Arts also has Radha Ravi, Suman and J. Sridhar on board.

It has now been announced that Bollywood actres Sunny Leone has joined the cast of 'Thee Ivan' and she will have scenes with Karthik that will be shot soon. The makers are eyeing a release date in early 2023.
