Trisha says yes to Selvaraghavan ten years after his wish

Maverick director Selvaraghavan and evergreen actress Trisha have not worked in a Tamil film yet. But they have had a memorable blockbuster hit in Telugu titled 'Aadavari Matalaku Arthale Verule' in which Venkatesh played the lead role. In 2008 the film was remade in Tamil as 'Yaaradi Nee Mohini' starring Dhanush and Nayanthara in the lead roles with Mithran Jawahar directing.

Selvaraghavan in 2013 tweeted "Watched AMAV after a long time. Had a great time working with venky and @trishtrashers ..don't mind making a sequel." Apparently Trisha only noticed the tweet now but she has replied " I am ready Selvaraghavan". The interaction has won the internet over.

'Aadavari Matalaku Arthale Verule' much like 'Yaaradi Nee Mohini' was a blockbuster hit grossing over rupees thirty crores which was rare fifteen years back when it released. Both the films had music by Yuvan Shankar Raja.

Trisha's next movie 'The Road' is releasing on October 6th while her biggie 'Leo' directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and costarring Thalapathy Vijay is hitting the screens worldwide on October 19th. Selvaraghavan is currently directing '7G Rainbow Colony 2' and is also acting in Dhanush's 'D 50' while 'Mark Antony' in which he plays an important character is releasing on September 15th.
