The television industry in utter shock as a 20 year old actress died by suicide in the makeup room of a shooting spot. A costar who allegedely had an affair with her has been arrested after a complaint by the mother of the deceased.

Actress Tunisha Sharma reportedly died by suicide on the sets in Maharashtra's Palghar on Saturday. December 24th. She was found hanging on the ceiling of the makeup room toilet on the sets of 'Ali Baba: Dastaan-E-Kabul'. A crepe bandage with which she allegedly took the extreme step has been recovered by the police. Sheezan Khan her costar has been arrested for alleged abetment to suicide. Both were said to be in a romantic relationship but the male actor apparently broke up with the actress 15 days ago and she was heartbroken after that.

On December 27th Tunisha Sharma was cremated at Mira Road Crematorium Ghat. Many stars of the TV world were present on this occasion. At the same time, the sister and mother of Sheezan Khan, the accused in this case, also reached the Mira Road crematorium to take part in the funeral of Tunisha Sharma. Sheejan Khan's sister Phalak Naaz got emotional at Tunisha Sharma's funeral and broke down in tears.

The police is investigating from every angle in Tunisha's suicide case and have so far recorded the statements of 17 people, including close friends and relatives of the actress. Tunisha's death has left her mother devastated. Accused Sheejan that there was also an age gap between the two and had broken up before three months.

CCTV footage showed a person carrying Tunisha's body from the shooting spot while Sheejan and another lady followed them on the way to the hospital where she was declared dead. The 28 year old actor had said that she tried to end her life 15 days earlier too and he had informed her mother and family to take extra care. However the family has denied any such occurrence.

Tunisha Sharma apart from several serials has also acted in the Hindi films 'Dabangg 3' and is also one of the leads in the upcoming heist thriller '3 Monkeys'.
