Talented actress Vinodhini Vaidyanathan never fails to impress with her peformances in almost all her films. She first came to the limelight with 'Engeyum Eppodhum' produced by A.R. Murugadoss and later played memorable characters in 'Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam', 'Aandavan Kattalai', 'Game Over', and most recently in 'Ponniyin Selvan 1' and 'Parole'.

Vinodhini has shared the shocking news that she has been robbed by two persons that too well known to her. According to her social media post in two separate incidents a painter and a mechanic stole rupees twenty five thousand from her. She had apparently complained to the police and the duo have promised to repay her but she is doubtful of that.

Vinothini who is also actively expressing her political views has written a long post on Twitter about the incident in which she blames the economy and the political situation that is forcing otherwise honest individuals to thievery to support their families. The theatre trained actress cited as culprits Demonetisation, GST, state taxes, inflation, petrol hike, electricity hike, low quality of goods, increasing divide between rich and poor and high interest rates.

At the end of her post Vinodhini even foresees men fighting each other just for hunger adding that the good that might come of such a situation is that then only two classes of people will be there. The one who has food and the one who does not. A thoughtful piece of writing that one.
