The year 2020 has been a devastating one for the world as a whole and entertainment industry particularly as apart from losing livelihood due to the coronavirus pandemic many famous entertainers have also passed away.  The latest to joint the long list of celebrities who passed away this year is talented Japanese actress Yuko Takeuchi who was found dead by her husband actor Taiki Nakabayashi.

Japanese media has reported that the 40-year-old Yuko Takeuchi had apparently died by suicide by hanging herself in her apartment in Tokyo and she was rushed to the hospital where she was declared dead.

Tragically Yuko Takeuchi delivered her second child a son only in January this year and she leaves the infant behind along with another son born in 2005 from a different marriage.  No suicide note was found and investigations are on to ascertain whether there is any other foul play involved.

After starring in many television productions Yuko Takeuchi made her debut in the international hit Japanese movie 'Ring' released in 1998 and has since started in many hit films and has also received critical acclaim.  Her most recent work include the series 'Miss Sherlock' that streamed in 2018 and also the movie 'The Confidence Man JP: Episode of the Princess'.
