‘Adarsha Kutumbam’ Release Plan Shifted, Locks Gandhi Jayanthi Slot

Director Trivikram Srinivas’ upcoming film Adarsha Kutumbam, starring Venkatesh Daggubati, is undergoing a notable change in its release strategy. Initially conceived as a quick project, the film’s production has taken longer than expected, prompting the makers to revise their release plans.

According to the latest update, the team has decided to skip the Dasara 2026 window and instead target a Gandhi Jayanthi release. The film is now likely to hit theatres on October 2, 2026.

Interestingly, although Dasara falls on October 20 this year, the makers have chosen not to aim for the festive period. The primary reason appears to be to avoid a direct box office clash with Prabhas’ much-anticipated film Fauji, which is gearing up for a grand Dasara release.

Adarsha Kutumbam is said to be a family drama infused with action elements. Srinidhi Shetty plays the female lead opposite Venkatesh, while popular Tamil comedian Yogi Babu will be seen in a key role.

The film is produced by S. Radha Krishna under the Haarika & Hassine Creations banner. Music is composed by Harshavardhan Rameshwar, who gained recognition for his work in Animal.
