Addor, Mammootty to receive D-Litts

The University of Kerala has decided to confer honorary doctorates to Malayalam super star Mammootty, World renowned director Adoor Gopalakrishnan and Mridangam exponent Umalayalpuram K Shivaraaman.

This is the first time an honorary doctorate is conferred on Mammootty who has earned almost all big awards in acting. Mammootty who was delighted on the announcement admitted that he was elated particularly as he is given the honour alongside two great people.

The actor who has completed two wannabe good works in 'Kutty Shranku' and 'Pazhassiraja' will join the new flick 'Pattanathil Bhootham' from the very first day of the New Year.
