Adithi Agarwal, who debuted with Gangothri, is now doing television. She says that TV is an important medium to reach out to the audience. People like to watch movies, but they are seen to become one with characters in serials, he quips. Padamati Gaali, produced by Sheer Media, revolves around this actress. She plays a Telugu girl in the US.

Popular TV actor Rishi is playing a crucial role, while Subhalekha Sudhakar and Sudha Chandran are playing a legal officer and a Magistrate respectively. Prajin, a familiar face in Kerala, has another meaty role cut out for him.

While projecting the serial as a thoroughly entertaining one, the makers are apparently banking on the main cast.
