Aditya Roy Kapoor turns cook

After creating a lot of buzz playing the romantic singer, Aditya aka Haider will be seen playing a Khandani Bawarchi (cook) in his upcoming movie ‘Dawat-E-Ishq’.

Aditya been shooting for the film in Lucknow for which he has even gone through a look change maintaining a horseshoe mustache and buzz cut. The actor was spotted chopping vegetables on the sets only to reveal that he will be playing a chef in the film. In the film he owns an eatery called Haidri Kabab.

Interestingly, Aditya’s character is loosely based on Delhi’s most famous food joint Karim's which has been around since ages. In fact, the eatery is a generation old family legacy which was built in 1890 and Aditya is seen taking forward the same.

While script narrations Kareem's name often used to crop up and the food there was animatedly discussed. We told that Aditya, who is a big foodie, is looking forward to visit Karim's in Delhi.
