Aditya Roy Kapur gifts expensive time to mom

Had it not been his mother, Aditya Roy Kapur would have never done film ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ (YJHD). Did you know, that actually she was one of the people who wanted him to do YJHD. And the result is here for all to see - the ‘Aashiqui 2’ actor recently won the Best Supporting Award at IIFA.

So as a token of gratitude, Aditya planned to give his mom a very expensive gift. Aditya, who is very close to his mother, shares a great bond with her. It is said that the actor took time out post the award night at Florida to buy the gift for his mother.

According to IndiaGlitz sources, Aditya wanted his win to be more special for his mother so like in a thank you gesture he bought her an expensive Omega watch. Like they say - Time is Precious... And what’s better than gifting such costly time...

Very few people know that Aditya's mother has been a very famous model. Although he stays on his own he lives in very close quarters to his mom’s.

Aditya gave two big successful hits with ‘Aashiqui 2’ and YJHD last year. Both the film not only earned big bucks at the box office making him stand out among his contemporaries but it also got him a lot of appreciation. Next he will be seen on big screens with ‘Daawat-E-Ishq’ alongside Parineeti Chopra.
