Aftab - We never claimed to be making a classic

'Bin Bulaaye Baaraati' has released and just like it has been the case with majority of comedies released in the past, this Aftab Shivdasani film too has ended up being mindless in the name of being light hearted.
What's wrong with that, Aftab questions back, As an actor you should have a good time working in a film and as a audience you should be entertained with what you see on the screen. The thought behind making a film like this is to give audience what they want rather than make something that you want.
Now that the film has opened to a decent response, Aftab believes that they have a safe venture in hand.
We never claimed to be making a classic here. The endeavour has been to put together an out and out commercial film. None of us ever had any doubts around this. It is always good to be a part of safe film like this, says Aftab in a positive tone before signing off.
