Actor Vetri who had debuted in films with the acclaimed thriller 8 Thottakkal directed by Sri Ganesh, had next acted in another thriller Jiivi which was directed by Gopinath VJ. Also starring Karunakaran and Rohini, this movie also received good reviews and was successful.

Vetri's next release is C/o Kaadhal which is directed by debutant Hemambar Jasthi, and this movie which is the official remake of Telugu hit Care of Kancharapalem is releasing on March 20. The actor also has a movie named Memories directed by Syam - Praveen.

It has been revealed that Vetri has signed another movie which has been titled Vanam, Directed by debutant Srikanth, this movie is a fantasy thriller about previous births, and has Thadam heroine Smruthi Venkat as the female lead. The movie also stars Vela Ramamoorthy and Azhagam Perumal, and is planned as a summer release.
