After Nag, Nayan might act opposite Ajith

After keeping everyone guessing about her plans for many months, Nayanatara finally gave the nod for Dasarath's film. Just less than a fortnight since the announcement of the film with Nagarjuna, the informed rumours in Chennai say that she will act in one of Ajith’s nexts.

The news should be read in the light of her alleged break-up with Prabhu Deva. It is now said that director Vishnuvardhan (of Panjaa fame) is keen on bringing back his 'Billa' (that's the Tamil version) pair of Ajith and Nayantara for a film to be produced by AM Ratnam. Rumour mills worked overtime and had it that Ajith will be seen in dual roles in this film but the makers rubbished it all. Anushka was initially considered for this role but since the actress is busy with her prior commitments and Nayan has made her comeback quite clear, the makers are keen on featuring her opposite Thala.

Meanwhile, many who have seen Prabhu and Nayantara immediately chipping in with unequivocal denials of their publicised break-ups in the past, are keeping mum now. With many sections of the media, including the national press, speculating about their break-up and the 'love birds' remaining silent, things are getting more confusing!
